Default Financial Services Authority (FSA) is taking longer to authorise firms

With the FSA stepping up its checks and tightening its processes for handling authorisation applications; plus the increased burned of dealing with the newly regulated sale and rent-back firms, it is taking longer (almost double the time) for firms to go through the authorisation process.
